Dear admins.

Thanks for your forum, it puts me at ease. Im a victim of this ugly scam and i have done most of the recommendations from previouse posts. I did not deactivate my fb account hoping to keep an eye on any links or videos sent to my friends and family.

I have one main question. Last night scammer demanded i send him 5000 of my currency and after talks back and forth he agreed to get 2000 by this morning. I will definatly not pay, but when he calls me back which im expecting any minute what should i do? Do i ignore the calls completely? Or ask for more time in the hope he doesnt upload anything? Whats your advice? Should i tell him straight up im not paying anything and he could get lost? But im worried that he will upload my videa to my family out of despite. He sent me the links to their facebook accounts which was scary. He also threatened to post in youtube but never sent me the link, like some other cases i read about.

Your help is appreciated.

Please anyone can help me on how they talked to the scammers?

Im sorry, im too shaken and for got to mention everything in the first post.

So i had the scammer on facebook first, however after i read the forum I blocked the account, then thought i should report it, so i unblocked to report the events and now i cant block him until 48 hours from the unblock time which is not very good. But the account is not friends with me now, i also unfriended the one common friend between us.

The scammer sent me a frame pictures of me while negotiating the price on facebook, snapshots from out videa chat, im scared that he will send them to my friends and family on fb. I only have an ipad and i cant manage to block the user on skype from my ipad, but im always on invisible status, does that help?

I can delete him off of my skype but i feel if i delete him then i wont be able to look out for anything he might do. Im super worried.

Hey Ang, I'm not a moderator here but I'd advise you to delete or deactivate your Facebook account. I would actually advice you to delete your Facebook account though, because I deleted mine and have been fine living life without an account. And its actually much more liberating.

I'm all for deleting though. If it was me I would advice you to delete your Skype, email, Facebook and any other accounts that your scammer could use to contact you. Blocking them on Skype won't help as they can still contact you using another account. The most important thing is that you cut off all possible avenues that the scammer can use to contact you.

As for worrying about them sending a video link to your friends. I highly doubt that they would do it. Flag the YouTube video for adult content and set up Google alerts. If you want you could go to pornmd.com and search for your name under the gay category to see if your video was uploaded to a porn site.

Yeah i agree with you, but my biggest worry is for the scammer to post some material on fb and while my account is deactivated i would be the last to know. Thats why im checking my facebook every minute.

Also how do u think i should talk to the guy? He got my phone number and is suppose to call me this morning which going into the afternoon now and still no call. Should play along with the money thing or whats the best way to end it and not provoke him to hurt me personally by uploading my video?

Did it happen to u? And how did u deal with it?
