You may think that you'll tell him no if it happens, but the scammers are very good at what they do. We've seen others fall into the same trap before. Secondly, your talking to him is educating him and he'll use what he's learning to scam others. The best thing to do is to block him and make sure his details are posted to warn others. You can speak to the police, but there's not really much they can do because of the fact he's in a different country.
