Aaaand - rest.

So that's another talk completed. Luckily we got together before it actually started to iron out any issues as we couldn't get the audio to work and that's an integral part of it when you're demonstrating how voices can be faked using examples. Unplugging my headphones and moving the mic closer to the speakers fixed it though, so it was a wrinkle and nothing major. Other than that it all went well. The presentation itself took about 30 minutes, then there were 15-20 minutes of questions after it. Feedback seemed to have been good too. These kind of talks are exhausting, particularly when you know how big the stakes are. Mess it up and a lot of people you really want to impress will have a lower opinion of you and you'll lose out on further opportunities down the line. Also you let down the person who set up the talk in the first place. Thankfully none of that happened and now I can start planning for the next one, where I'm speaking at a BSides next month with another edited version of the talk. I've also put in the talk for consideration at two other ones. Keep everything crossed folks.
