Romance Scam

New to this forum. My husband is being scammed, planning on divorcing me beacause a beautiful porn star claims to be in love with him and wants to come here. He is making very bad decisions and going down the wrong road. He will not give me any info, claiming he is not doing anything wrong. I have documented some messages between him & scammer & have 1 phone number that was being used. The very same number from a post on this site in july 2015. These people have brainwashed my husband and are ruining my life (& his). I have confronted him vaguely with no results, he is still communicating with "her" / them. He has sent several thousand dollars that i know of. His mom & siblings & many friends know he is being scammed but he will not listen to them or me. I don't want him to leave me, i want to help him! I don't know how to convince him that "she" is not real. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear your husband is scammed, Naomi. Your case is not an exception - the scammer will destroy not only the life of the person they are playing with, but also the life of the ones close to the victim. They will try anything in their power to keep the victim away from anyone able to spoil their game. It will be not easy for you to convince your husband he is scammed - he is in denial and the scammer hooked him good enough to be more credible as any other real person around.

It might help if you can post here some of the details you have about that scammer - an email address and phone number/s the scammer is using, pictures your husband received (not nude or half nude pictures), some of the messages received - special the ones where the scammer is talking about "herself" or is asking for money.
