I was never a victim myself but I have always known of scammers and thanks to another online communities that I was apart of and learn how to bait scammers. As a result I have been baiting scammers for over 4 years now. I also help report scammer's bank account in order to get them shut down as well as occasionally helping victims get back on their feet. My creative writing has really helped me with my baiting skills and even got a scammer to travel on my (character's) behalf and delayed the scammer for 3 weeks from potential victims. If I can keep even 1 scammer away from potential victims then I feel like I have done my part even if it is someone as significant as getting their bank accounts shut down.
