Post up any 419 emails you received. All persons/companies depicted in these emails are either fictitious or have had their identities copied/stolen by the scammers. Emails posted by staff are received unsolicited to their "catcher" accounts.

If you've never seen one of these before, this is how they work. You get sent a check, or a bunch of checks. You cash the check(s). You keep 10% and forward the rest on (usually via Western Union) and then at a later date find out the check(s) are fake or stolen and you're liable for the money. It's also worth noting that, a $1000 check that you keep 10% of won't cost you $900 when it's cancelled, but $1900. There's the $900 you sent to the scammer, plus the $1000 the bank will want back off you. Here's a perfect example.
