OK so this just happened literally 3 days ago 11/29/12 . I was looking for a Ragdoll or Birman kitten had come across an ad online and all i did was contact the seller. Got a series of phony explanations to why the cat was no longer in Philadelphia where the listing, and a picture of a white women with 3 kittens had been made. Of course my demands were never fulfilled instead I got some more of this bs.

At which point I told him I will fly there to personally see the cats, and he wasnt having it.

At 7 AM 3 days after contact I got a phone call from a guy, from a VOip (internet phone) number, stating my cats where shipped and waiting payment. I logged onto my email and saw more of this BS.

Bottom line, I took the time to write this so people will know. A good friend of mine had lost her cat during Hurricane Sandy and I was trying to surprise her with a kitten. These animals need to be shot and nuked. I called him back and told him what i thought of him. IF YOU ARE EVER ASKED TO MAKE A WIRE TRANSFER FOR ANY SERVICES REGARDING PETS ITS A SCAM. 8)Then I told to my husband about it, we then had lots of questions pumped into our head likes: why he didn't mention the detail informations about the kitten?
Then I looked the all email back from the first one he send to me, the one with kitten pictures. The more I look, the more I thought I used be saw those pics before from somewhere else。
Then I google it as" Scottish fold kitten" pictures.
No doubt, I found that 3 kitten pictures he send to us

We are really angry about this, but my husband said, " lets see what he wants and then make a final decision"

We back him a very strong email to tell him about we don't want ur fake kitten anymore and no more reply please.
But it not over. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT PART! Those guys right now change their strategies and do as a partner scam!

15)On steps 12, exactly same day, my husband received similar email from same website as initially mentioned, the girl s email was:
Lydia_Lee##@gmail.com ( sorry guys I can't remember the email add, as it in my husband laptop, and ## means number, but I forget them.:s)
She backs us a really nice email to tell us her job requires her to travel often, that's why she hardly to continue to take care of the kitten, then asked us about few questions liked: why you want this breed? Have you had cat before? The cat needs more time to play with, can u promise me you gonna take care of the cats and make sure you have enough time to play with it?and etc. It spuds really reasonable and my husband let me to look it, both of us thought it was the real one, as a cat lover, the questions she asked was really keen to the points. And especially compare with the scammer before.
15) also on the email she mentioned the age, gender of the kitten.
And we back the email told her about us, why we want to have a Scottish fold and answered all questions she mentioned before.
16) she backs us another really nice email, and with kitten pictures, I was careful this time, as she mentioned she recently just moved into QSL.
Then I told her about the scammer we have before, but I didn't tell her about Cameroon.
17) then she backs us said she needs to help us to change the ownership if the kitten, and gave us more detail informations, likes the flur color, the breed, even how to play with the kitten. Also she mentioned to us, she had two kittens, one male one female,the one ( the mostly lovely one)we want is female, ( as we told her we want male one) so she said to us, one cat delivery fee is $250, 2of them together was $450. And also mentions those two were the only two she left.
And she told us she was catholic, she won't do any thing like this! She understood about our feeling, and wishes we can feel better.PULS, she continues share some informations about the kitty likes what's they normally looks like and how to play with them.
18) after we backs to her the delivery address infor, as for every thing she mentioned about kitty were all sounds reasonable and even asked us to send her the kitty's pictures monthly and she also can share the happiness with us of the kitty.
But my Little voice from my mind always told me careful, some how, I just felt she and the scammer were came from the same group.
As the previous one lacks all informations but she just provided too many.

19)Then we received a call early this morning, the guy called from Cameroon, asked about delivery about the kitty from the first scammer! I told him to cancel the order as we didn't approach the commitment to have this cats.

20) few minutes later, my husband received a email from the second scammer, and my husband FWD it to me, both of us laugh it out:

The add's location said Ballarat, so I asked to visit the puppy & then through personal emails he said his relocated to Darwin. How convenient.I was so close giving them payment info.
