hello,
Thanks for the interest you have in my birds, they are a related pair, male and female
(Randy & Ruby)
-18 months old
-vet checked
-health guaranteed
-DNA tested
-Great talkers and singers
-home trained and very friendly with kids and other pets.
-The birds will be coming along with a cage, accessories like toys, feeding bowls and other paper works.
I am a Medical researcher who just relocated from Sydney to Cameroon on a 6 months research program on medicinal plants, sadly on arrival I was made to understand that as a foreigner, I will have to obtain a pet permit before I am able to live with the birds here in Cameroon, I have not been allowed to take the birds home from the airport, so freighting the birds back to Australia will be quarantine free. Considering the duration I will have to apply before obtaining the permit to stay with the birds, I have decided to let them go to any good homes back them in Australia ready to show them love and concern. If you are interested in re homing the birds and ready to pay their freight expenses of approx $250 per bird back to Australia, then you just have to get back to me with your details (Full names, home address or nearest airport and phone number) as soon as I get this I will now make arrangements with the pets cargo services at the airport here and they will get back to you for payment and the freight/delivery details of the birds to your home or nearest airport. Permit me also know more about you and your experience with birds.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Regards

Subject: IMPROPER CAGING FOR YOUR ECLECTUS PARROTS
Tel:(+237)-9413-0449
Dear Client,
This is to inform you that your Eclectus parrots could not be put on flight yesterday because, shortly before flight activation when the parrots took transit at the Nsimalen International airport, the Pets Control Unit(PCU) stopped the parrots from getting on board due to improper caging. The cage that was used for transporting the parrots by your sender Ashley Zook is not the proper cage used for transportation of birds for long distances. Therefore an automatic temperature regulating cage is recommended which is good for the health of the birds.
This is also due to the fact that the airport pets authority here at the Nsimalen International airport(NIA) also complaint that the parrots may not arrive the Williamtown airport in good health if the automatic temperature regulating cage is not used for the transportation of these parrots. Therefore the Pet cargo services will only be able to proceed with the freight of the parrots only as soon as the required crate is used. It is either you buy the required transport crate costing $1800 or rent one from IATA costing $950(deposit guarantee).
So the parrots shall only be dispatched from the detention of the Pet Control Unit(PCU) only after the required cage is rented or bought.
You shall have to deposit the sum of $950 for rent of the recommended cage as we were unable to contact your sender. As soon as the parrots are delivered to you at Williamtown airport, you shall fully be refunded $900 and $50 will be deducted for cage rent charges. We are very sorry for the inconveniences but you have to understand that it is for the safety of your parrots. The present cage will accompany the parrots but you shall have to use the cage only at your home after delivery. You shall have to make payment via WESTERN UNION using the same names and address which you used for the last payment.Get back to us with the MTCN for confirmation and the pet cargo services will proceed with the freight of these parrots.
Thanks For Your Cooperation

hello,
I am very sorry if all this is happening, i never expected anything of this sort, i called to ask and was told my cage was rejected to transport the birds for long distances, i am so confused, can you try to make the payment so that the birds can just come over, I really do not want them stressed up, i will be paying you back all what you spent extra on them on Friday when i get my check, I was also made to understand the fee for the cage will be refunded and only $500 cut for charges as the fee is to guarantee for the cage.
