Sixth arrest over NSW business email scam
A 27-year-old woman has become the sixth person arrested over an alleged syndicate running a multi-million dollar email scam out of Sydney.

A woman has become the sixth person to be arrested over a multi-million dollar email scam allegedly run out of a Sydney immigration centre.
NSW Police say the 27-year-old woman was involved in the laundering of close to $90,000 of fraudulently obtained money.
She was arrested at Liverpool Police Station on Wednesday afternoon and joins three men and two other women already charged over their roles in the alleged syndicate.
They were allegedly involved in a range of fraudulent activities including romance scams, identity theft and business email compromises which defrauded Australians of more than $3 million.
The woman is due to face Liverpool Local Court on October 24.
