You'll find our Scallywag's story in this week's issue. OK, so large parts of the story have been - let's just say "glossed over" to make it appear more of a love story, but at least it gets the word out. Here's scans of it.

Thanks for being so brave in telling your story to yet another media group, Scally. We are all inspired by the courage that you have shown to all of the members here and to the public for spreading the word about scammers. :D

Hi Scallywag.

Excellent story and an inspiration to anyone who has been scammed, the most important thing is, this was not your fault, you were vulnerable and hoping for some happiness. I admire the fact that you have been brave enough to tell your story here on SS --- and warn others as to how easy it is to become trapped by the smooth talk of the scammer, but most importantly, you are working hard to overcome this situation and recover.

These people are nothing more than the scum of the earth, they have no souls and no conscience.

Keep telling your story, it helps many others to know they are not alone and do not have to go through this experience by themselves. Scam Survivors is a Godsend for many of us.

Thank you for being so open and public with your story.

Best always, RF
