I'm pleased that our host, Staminus, is spending some of our money on improving their systems. Our service has been very good so far, and improving. That's nice to see. :D

Notification of Unexpected Impact

This is an unplanned maintenance notification. Coresite, which operates the One Wilshire Building in Los Angeles, California is currently experiencing a power outage. The One Wilshire Building powers our entire network. This is the most interconnected building in Southern California.

We have been notified that they are working on the issue and should have it up as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. It is highly unusual for the One Wilshire Building to experience a power outage.

Please note that we have prepared a disaster recovery plan moving forward and should have it implemented within the next six weeks. This will allow us to prevent these impacts.

We are updating our twitter account at http://www.twitter.com/StaminusComm with updates.

Thank you!

Update to Notice of Unexpected Impact

Coresite has restored power to our suite after about 15 minutes of outage. All services have now been restored. As mentioned in the original message, we are working towards solutions that mitigate these sorts of risks and hope to implement them soon. Thank you for your patience.
