Matched with profile from Hinge- 'Brenda McCall' phone number
+447427234566. We exchanged messages and videos/some of which were personal
and private. After some time, I receive this message: "We accessed your
stuff and your videos have been recorded and will be sent to all of your
work, friends, family and contact, unless: 1) pay and watch your videos
being deleted permanently 2) share the videos and face the upcoming
consequences. You got 10 seconds to pick one. 2 is an immediate share". I
blocked this number and received a message from another- +1 (323) 426 3987
with the screenshots of our chats. "You think we're playing games or
blocking will help you you can't run even deleting your social media won't
help we already have all your data". "The police can't help you, we're your
only option, pay and we delete everything with a video proof or we will
keep sharing to all your family and friends and contacts and ruin your
life, last chance". Then asked to pick up he call, then download Wester
Union, screen shot details and send. I didn't comply and told him I will
report to the police. One of my contacts on Facebook received a message
from someone called Driss Amastan (FB driss.amastan)
with all messages deleted, so he could not see what was sent. I believe
this is the scammer, as they sent a screenshot of our Whatsapp chat to my
Facebook contact (timestamp 3 mins apart). I have blocked all contact.
