What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?:
Blocked and reported the scammer's user, and reported a number of fake
profiles he created under my name and/or pictures for "pleasure" purposes.
some of the fake accounts got deleted upon reporting them many times to
instagram for impersonation, In which I attached legal ID documents to
prove the case. However some of the accounts are still out there and THE
SCAMMER'S ACCOUNT IS STILL ACTIVE ON BOTH FB & IG.

prevent someone else from being scammed.:
Once I realised I had been framed, (after the recorded girl on the screen
gave me the middle finger and disconnected) he sent me a message and a
YouTube link, showing me my exposed footage, and threatening to share it
with my family & friends. and sanding a screenshot of an IG profile with my
name and pictures (even my mobile number). I unconsciously opened the
YouTube link, then quickly closed it, I was afraid it could be clickbait or
something that could make it even worse! it was named xxx "The scandal of xxx
followed by my mobile number "for pleasure purposes". I reported it to
YouTube and it was removed minutes later. he even misspelled my last name
in Arabic!
I was shocked when I read the title, and immediately got defensive, I
didn't even know what his "condition" was, I replied with a long "haha" and
said "might as well ask your mom for the video of me & her on her phone"
then -which I'm not sure was the right thing to do- I threatened him back,
saying "I'm a European citizen and I will haunt you down and when I find
you I'll destroy your future, you piece of sh*t". I was referring to the
use of European GDPR...
However I blocked & reported him on imo & Instagram, filed an impersonation
report for Facebook, and a legal content removal form on google, in which I
included my name and the details he had access to.
I will file a report with the local authorities, but I don't have much
evidence to track him down. I was lucky to land on your website and I truly
appreciate your help. I have been getting panic attacks for almost a week
now, with almost no sleep knowing that there is a nude content of me posing
rather "inappropriately" somewhere out there. which can be sold online and
used in any way as a prerecorded material for further sextiortion and sick
purposes. I have never been more paranoid. I wish if there is a group I can
be in or somebody I can talk to about this, I'm living alone abroad and
we're currently on lockdown.
