omegle.com then Hangouts. they sent email to hangouts though omegle and I
then added them

They contacted me first.

What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?:
I blocked them on google hangouts which blocked them from my email. I
briefly deactivated my facebook and also made my friends list private to
only me. They showed me the names of people they were going to message and
I let them know ahead to ignore/delete/report anything as well as put a
post on my facebook which only friends can see.
