So far it’s just in messenger (Facebook)

Not yet.

How much money did they demand?:
None yet. I will not send any money even if they do.

What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?:
I haven’t taken any steps yet. I’ve called them a scammer then did
the reverse lookup and after I seen they are in your data base I started
playing nice with them so that if you need my help catching them I can do
it.

Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help
prevent someone else from being scammed.:
You can tell they are coping a script. The English is to perfect but once
you get them off script the English is not so good. On Facebook if you look
at their friends 95% and foreign. The profile is less than a week old and
their are no pics of friends or family.
