someone please help. looking for advice or peace of mind. last night i was the victim of a webcam blackmail, i met a girl off chatroulette and befriended her on facebook, she convinced me to skype her and that is when it all happened. i feel really dumb and possibly like the biggest idiot on the plannet. the scam appears to be from moracco, they sent me a message on skype with a recording of the video and stated that they would send it to all my friends and family on fb if i did not pay up $700. has anyone had a similar experience and have they actually sent the video? this is very embarrasing and im very worried

Hi msp23 ---

Sorry to learn you were scammed. Please read on the forum page, Online Blackmail - Read This First, it will help you to understand what happened.

DO NOT PAY them, and drop all contact with them now, block your fb account or deactivate, block them on Skype and emails. Set google alerts so that if they do post the video you will be notified and can have it removed. Please do not report them to fb or any other account, we need them to stay active in order for potential victims to find them posted here. If you follow all the instructions and block them, they cannot find you and will move on.

Also if you could post your information, from chatroulette, the fb information, everything you have in the way of details. Please register on the forum using a username that has nothing to do with your real life. We also have a form you can fill out with the scam information and we will post it for you.

If you wish to talk with someone, please come into the live help room, we will be more than happy to help you in anyway possible.

Take care ---
RF

Why yes, yes he did. Then he turned up at his house, boiled his bunny, slept in his bed, broke his chair and ate all his porridge. After that he raided his washing machine and stole one sock from every pair in there before hiding a stash of pornographic magazines under his mattress.

Posting the scammer details is the MOST important thing that you should do here. Do not skip that step in the main topic!

Scammers attempt an average of 30 scams/day and not putting their details here can endanger others. You found our site and our help because of the concerned posts of all the hundreds of other survivors that came before you. We all expect the same from you. Give them the help that they need now.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.
