What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?:
They deleted our conversation before I could pull any relevant
information. Blocked and archived google hangouts conversation. Changed
passwords and added two way authentication (where available) for Facebook,
gmail, my bank, and Instagram. Increased security on my Facebook to friends
only for all posts. Warned all of my friends/relatives of the potential for
what could happen. Filed a police report, got a bank dispute,
emailed okcupid, put an alert on my credit, filled out a crime
complaint on the FBIs website, cancelled the debit card
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.
