What name did the scammer use?: Amilie and Amie
How old did the scammer say they were?: 24
What site/app did you first meet the scammer on? Please provide a link if possible.: okcupid
Who made the first contact?: They contacted me first.
If they asked you to leave the site/app and go elsewhere, where did they take you?: google hangout
Any other social media profile links used by the scammer.: Ella Mae on facebook
Scammer's email address if you have it.: prettysmile092101@gmail.com

How much money did they demand?: $1,000
What country/city were you told to send the money to?: Phillipines
How were you to send the money ?: Western Union
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: deleted alternative email account used in contact, deactivated instagram account. Deleted facebook account last year for personal reasons, so I do not have one of those
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.: They were very pushy with getting me into a google chat. Told me they were from Japan and visiting the US. OKCupid profile was clearly (in hindsight) a scammer, having been poorly built and asking questions that they didn't have to since the answers to said question were a part of my profile.
