neweradotcom@gmail.com - collins pete

Unread postby sharkbait » Fri Jun 21, 2019 3:40 am

Hey all,

I just wanted to provide some followup information regarding the situation described above. They were using google hangouts. Once I blocked the first one, they "invited" me using a couple different addresses through Hangouts. I didn't bother reading the messages they sent and got rid of Hangouts all together, even turned off "chat" through gmail settings. The only way of contact they have is through my email, which I can screen easily.

The original scam occurred throughout Saturday and carried over into Sunday morning. I had begun blocking them on Saturday evening and woke up early Sunday to find an email and a couple Hangout messages threatening they had sent stuff to some friends. I knew that was a lie so I ignored everything. I hadn't heard anything from them or seen anything posted online until today (Thursday afternoon). I received an email from a "collins pete" using the email: neweradotcom@gmail.com. I didn't even bother opening the email because I could read the preview and saw it just wasn't right. I'm assuming its them again trying one more time to drag me back. Obviously this keeps me a little worried they still have my contact and blackmail with them, but I haven't seen anything posted and have google alerts set up for the few ways they could post things. I'll probably expect them to try to reach me again, but hopefully they just give up.

Just wanted to provide that email address for others to be aware of. If something else happens I'll post another update. This site has really helped me put things into perspective. They really have no motive to post anything they have as that removes their power and I'm sure is illegal.

I hope this information helps someone.

Over how many months did this happen? She's wrecked my marriage and I'm waiting to see when I should be receiving photos of my husband because he put a stop to it. Apparently he's her boyfriend but I know this catfishing whore isn't Katie Banks. Sorry you had to endure this. She, he, it is absolutely pathetic.

He says he has not been asked for money or anything but I find that odd. She, he, it is trying to say my hubs is her boyfriend. They've been talking for months but never on the phone. I'm just wondering when I cann expect his photos to surface to try and blackmail him.

Look it, you need to go here and please read. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26504
Your husband needs to change all of his profiles, email addresses, phone numbers, everything, and stop all contact.

We cannot predict the actions of any scammer, especially not knowing any details from you.
You need to work things out with your husband, and not on this forum. We are not marriage counselors.
