I failed last night:
-Met a girl "sarah vannisa" on chat roulette
- Added her on facebook
- moved to skype and camed for 5 mins
- said her parents came in, dropped call
- came back on and showed a video of me and listed all my friends on FB
- He said he would post my video on a gay porn site if I didnt pay
- Almost did but found your site: THANK YOU
- Blocked deleted him on skype, he had already blocked and unfriended me on FB.
- I changed my name and details and made a google alert for my name in case he put it on youtube.
- Its the day after since this happened and Im scared ;p What else can I do!

PLEASE HELP

It looks like you have followed the advice here:

Online blackmail. Read this first. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=580

Please read that entire topic. Here are the main points in it:
DO NOT PAY THEM! They will only be back for more money over and over until you stop.
Unfriend them then Block them in FB, change your FB username and picture. Increase your privacy settings in FB. Block them in Skype. Put Google Alerts on your name, and report any videos to the host of the website to close them. Do not answer any unknown emails, delete them without opening them, and do not accept any new friend on skype or FB.

One other thing that you can do is to post EXACT scammer details, so that others can be warned.

What is scammer's FB account profile link? Not just the Name you see on the account, as many people can share the same name, but the profile link in the address bar, the URL.
What is scammer's EXACT Skype Profile name and details there? (Right-click mouse on her name in Skype.)
Who were you told to pay? Name, city, country?
any other details of scammer.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

It sounds like you've done most things already. Go to viewtopic.php?f=20&t=580 to recheck if there's anything you've missed and be sure to post up the scammer's details to help prevent others from falling for the same scam.

Should I be worried about them emailing my friends and family?
What should I do about that?

No, not if you follow every bit of the advice in the topic. Contacting your family and/or posting to FB list is the LAST thing they want to do. They AVOID doing that, regardless of what they tell you, but you must block them everywhere. Follow the topic advice, and please post the scammer details.

This scammer, as do most scammers have a dozen or more victims a day that they are talking to Right Now. You are not the only victim who has suffered or is suffering now from this guy, Posting their details here does not endanger you anymore, as he would have no idea who posted them. But not posting them does endanger all the others.
They need the details posted so that they can find out they are being scammed, and where to get help.

I strongly urge you to do the right thing, like all the other victims who have come here for help and posted their scammer to save others. They are now feeling the same things you felt, do not know what to do, and are seeking help. Please give them the help that they need.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

I was a victim 2 weeks ago of what had to be the same person. Her name to me was sarah "venosta" not "vanissa" like you dealt with. I did it on FB not skype and same thing happened. I did just like you and found this place before almost paying. its been 2 weeks and nothing. I know its a terrible feeling but I think you will be just fine like me..
