Who made the first contact?: They contacted me first.
If they asked you to leave the site/app and go elsewhere, where did they take you?: Google Hangouts
Any other social media profile links used by the scammer.: N/A
Scammer's email address if you have it.: prettywong03@gmail.com
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?:
- Blocked the email address on Google Hangouts
- Verified my Facebook profile is on restricted settings
- Deactivated my OkCupid account. (Their support also banned the profile in question)
- Deactivated my twitter account
- Restricted the visibility settings on linkedIn.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.: The message she sent me on Hangouts indicated that she had compromising images, that she would distribute them, and to not disconnect from the video chat. I immediately disconnected, blocked her, and I have not heard from her since.
