If these scammer's accounts are blocked by me, will their name show up on my friend's page if one of my friends accepted a friend request from the spammer?

Thing is, the link she sent me of my "video" was just a random music video. So I don't even know if they even have the video of me to send to my friends.

Yes. This is why we tell people to warn their friends.

I have had a very similar experience!

My details are the same as yours this scammer recorded a video of me and then demanded £500 or he would post it too my FB friends and family.

I reported the video on you tube and google. Blocked and reported the user on FB and have set up google alert now.

I did manage to get the details. She used the Name- Manwela Sorieto ( I think the page has been removed but if someone would check for me that would be great)

I played along with the scammer for a little why. Got the Details

Hopefully this is the end of this now but i have learnt a lot from this, We all make mistakes and its how we learn from them!

Where did you meet? What is the website?
What is scammer's FB account profile link? Not just the Name you see on the account, as many people can share the same name, but the profile link in the address bar, the URL.
What is scammer's EXACT Skype Profile name and details there? (Right-click mouse on her name in Skype.)
Any other details of scammer??

You should NOT have reported the scammer account to FB to be closed. This hurts other victims, and does NOTHING to protect you. Please read WHY here:

Hi Guys,

Glad I found this. A bit late though. I had exactly the same thing happen to me but the FB user name was Sarah Valvenosta. I did make 1 payment of 150 but then they threatened further after which I blocked them etc I can see the link the youtube private video is still up there and I know it is the video of me because you can get access to JPEGs of the video with a small tweak. I blocked her anyway but did not report. So good to know if anyone here has any more info?
Does anyone know how I can get the private YouTube video down?

We met on chatroulette she aid she was from Canada on holidays with her sister in Morocco. She then sugested going to facebook. I sent a friend request and startet a video session just as your previous posts and then had my video played back at me. Same thing with the 5 friends in my facebok buisiness. I cant get the facebook profile link because I have blocked them. Do you think I should unblock to get the address? I will try and find the morocco name of the WesternUnion demand also for you.

Best not to unblock your FB to try to get the link, now. Your protection is more important at this point.
It would have helped to have the profile name before you blocked her, but don't worry about that now.
Do you have the Skype ID? You can get the ID even if blocked by going to the Blocked contacts list in Skype Tools section. Tools>Options>Privacy>Blocked contacts.

it wasn't on Skype it was on the facebook video plugin thing. Is that skype? If so how do I get the details you requested?
