Hi All,

I can't thank you enough for the advice you've given out.

Unfortunately I've joined the ranks of stories listed above. I didn't pay any money, was sharp enough to get 3 days grace, in the meantime I read up on the situation and got my strategy sorted.

I've deleted the videos from youtube before any views. Thank God.

I've learnt my lesson, and will spread the word to others.

Keep fighting the good fight!!!

by the way, I noticed the scammer had adopted my username, so I guessed they were going to contact friends pretending to be myself, and send the link for them to click on.

I headed that one off by sending a group email saying my account was hacked and don't click on any links from anyone under my name.

The B"&%ard used Gangnam Style as the background for my videos, they're gonna burn in hell!!!

KiwiTaff, I'm sorry that you were scammed. Can you please post the details of the scammer so that others can be warned?

Where did you meet? What is the website?
What is scammer's FB account profile link? Not just the Name you see on the account, as many people can share the same name, but the profile link in the address bar, the URL.
What is scammer's EXACT Skype Profile name and details there? (Right-click mouse on her name in Skype.)
Who were you told to pay? Name, city, country?
any other details of scammer.

This scammer, as do most scammers have a dozen or more victims a day that they are talking to Right Now. You are not the only victim who has suffered or is suffering now from this guy, Posting their details here does not endanger you anymore, as he would have no idea who posted them. But not posting them does endanger all the others.
They need the details posted so that they can find out they are being scammed, and where to get help.

After you post the details, go to the main topic here and make sure that you have followed all of the advice there. Online blackmail. Read this first. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=580
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Thanks SlapHappy,

Thankfully i'm made of stearn stuff, but I could understand how someone could go to pieces over this.

The details I can still access are,
skype - nicolle hernandez (kittynicolle89)
original facebook name was - Hernandez Sweetiezx

I was asked to send money, and I quote:
"name : paulo ramos
address : philippines
just send it on western union CASH PICK UP by the RECIEVER or cash in a minutes got me ???"

I managed to stall them, claimed I didn't have correct documentation, and couldn't get to the store for 3 days. They bought it, as said above, all they're interested is the money, so I played on their greed and effectively scammed the scammer.

I would've been up the creek if you guys hadn't said about googling the videos on youtube tho.

Many thanks!!

The thought of my brother seeing me in a public video beating off to Gangnham style will go with me to my grave.

Do you have the FB profile link that the scammer used for Hernandez Sweetiezx?
I think the other link you gave me was incorrect, so I removed it.
I also corrected your double-post. Easy to do as we had a few glitches today. ;)

Thanks Slap Happy,

The facebook link has since been shut down, I've just got the name in my chat box.

The double post might have been my fault, I always like to celebrate getting out of a really tight jam with a bottle of red or two.

Consider me a footsoldier in the Online Scamming Crusade from now. Pardon the euphamism, but I'm not gonna get caught with my pants down again!!!

Thanks all!

no worries,

I can deal with the idea of my my nearest and dearest seeing me in a compromising position, but what really got my goat was how they posted my employment details with the video.

that would be horrendous if someone lost their job over this.

Stay Vigilant.
