What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: My brother has reported the message on FB on the numerous options. He has
1) reported the actual message as blackmail and threatening family

2) Sent URL's of the message, FB replied saying they can't help me! WTF

3)Screenshotting the message and copy and pasted the message with the video and reported that to Facebook.

I have been in to the Police station - they can't do anything because the crime has been committed from another country.

- Deactivated my Account.

- Facebook have done NOTHING I cannot believe it.

Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.:I blocked first number when they said nothing as I suspected it wasn't the girl that it was a fake cam. Then a second number said +212687802223 & +212777088984 - (Account name says yassmine khi). After blocking the 1st number, I receive a message from a 2nd number saying "We have saved __(my girlfriend)__ and your contacts.

They didn't threaten to send the video...they just SENT it. I blocked the whatsaap accounts, I don't know if they would have asked for money but didn't because I blocked their numbers on whatsapp.

PLEASE help me, FB have been useless It needs to be put down.

i've been victim of this shit today.. i blocked him on whatsapp and i deactivated my FB account.
i have just a few question:
did he for real sent to all your FB friends the video? and how the f*ck did he find my FB page only having my number?
