i pretty much am in the same boat. except i ended up doing the gold thing on citysex. is there a way if anyone can provide me a legit contact number to cancel my subscription? I ended up blocking them on Skype and blocked their facebook and deactivated my facebook account. I am kind of scared to reactivate it.

facebook name is - JC Cullen (http://www.facebook.com/jc.cullen.12?fref=ts)
skype name is - jc.culleen

I did all of this probably 7 hours ago and i have no idea if they did anything or not since i blocked them. Do you think I can just chill? I have read the posts on here the last several hours which have helped.

Is this the person you chatted with, Panda123?
Did you actually get added to that FB account that she said was hers, and actually see yourself added to it?
Was the citysex subscription the scam? Did she want you to be the member, or pay for hers?
Was there any other money request involved? Details?

I'll repeat this advice from the other topic for you.

Please read this topic, and follow all of the advice there: Online blackmail. Read this first.
view ... f=20&t=580

Please read that entire topic. Here are the main points in it:
DO NOT PAY THEM! They will only be back for more money over and over until you stop.
Block them in FB, change your FB username and picture. Increase your privacy settings in FB. Block them in Skype. Put Google Alerts on your name, and report any videos to the host of the website to close them. Do not answer any unknown emails, delete them without opening them, and do not accept any new friend on skype or FB.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Yes that was the picture that I did chat with. It said it was 23.

I and it start talking on facebook than it lead to Skype. Things go on and now just like everyone else, it turns around and wants to blackmail me and the "register on this site or i will fb everyone you on skype" saying. I registered for the first thing which wasnt free (had to use cc# and all that). Then It wanted me to keep going to other sites so that is when I just blocked the crap outta it and it has been about 9 hours since. The only money i paid out was that gold membership thing on that citysex, which i need help to legitly cancel it. Thanks

When they gave you the site names, did the link have a long number in it too? It's what's known as a referrer number. Basically this is a new tactic of adult site recruiters as it's quicker and easier than having to pretend to be on the sites they want you to sign up to and the only way you can see them on cam is to join up.

Yes it had some number behind it I am pretty sure. I already blocked the scammer and everything and I do not dare adding it back to get the exact number, I just know it was CitySex and I registered and did the One month gold membership thing. After I registered, this is my Welcome to Citysex email I received.

"
Dear xxxxx xxxxx,

Thank you for choosing CitySex.

Your Order ID is 70927242

Please note that any authorizations or charges will show up discreetly on your statement as: "USERSPOST.COM".

For trial information, membership cancellation, technical support and customer service:
Email: cs@CitySex.com.
Phone: 866-736-2254

Thank you and welcome aboard,

So I have two choices. Either I call that number or I email them. I tried calling that number which said have my cc# ready or I can choose to go to ( customersupportpage.com ), which still asks for my cc# so I felt uncomfortable either way not knowing if it was legit page link. So then I take the other option and I email them (on the above post) saying "I would like my membership cancelled and stop charging my card. My account is xxxxxx. " I sent this email few hours ago.

About 30mins ago, I get this back.

"Hello Sir,

Thank you for your email. Your subscription to http:/ /www.citysex.com is cancelled and no charges will be made.

If you want your profile blocked on the website, please take the following steps.

1. Go to account settings
2. Click the "Suspend so it is invisible to other members" button
3. Click the "no IM!" button.
4. Click the "Update my Account" link.
5. Log out of the website through the "Account" button.

Please note that a pre-authorization was made for the membership on January 3, 2013 for the amount of $29.95. A pre-authorization is a hold and not an actual charge. Your membership is cancelled and the pre-authorization hold made for the upgrade will be automatically released back into your account. Pre-authorization holds are usually released within 2-14 business days. However, the actual length depends on when your bank or credit card company releases the hold. For more information regarding pre-authorization holds, please contact your bank or credit card company.

We appreciate your interest in our website.

Thank you,
Gisselle
Customer Support"

Does this mean it was legitly cancelled?

Check with your bank and follow up. I would also ask for a new cc number, as a scammer was involved in this.

What would be the best thing to say? Would it be okay to just ask for a whole new credit card without really explaing what happened?

Tell them your cc number was illegally obtained and charges made. You complained to the company, "USERPOST.COM." They agreed to release the funds back, but if they do not, you want to dispute the charges, and since you do not trust them and think they may hold your card information in their database, you want a new card sent to you. No need to tell them the story.
