Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: he used a second profile by the name of claudia walker to attract men. she said she was 20. she then recorded and played it back. she then said the video was private mode on youtube. She then later said that I violated international laws and would do 5 years in prison with a 75,000$ fine. She then gave me mr franck duprett's facebook profile. I paid that day. Then duprett contacted me the next day for more money to remove the video off youtube.

Nope. The last thing we want is for an account to be shut down. The scammer makes a new one in a few minutes and any information obtained on the old one is now obsolete, hampering possible law enforcement investigations.

Hi wayne
thank you for the response. However if this account is shut down, would it be safe to say all the facebook accounts he scammed can they return to facebook?

Thanks slap
ah just curious since this fb profile has been shut down, what are the odds that the same scammer used a slightly different name with maybe less letters in the last name? Is this a strategy that scammers use?

medicbip,

The scammers are using multiple fake profiles on Facebook. From time to time they are deactivating some of those profiles, keeping active only the ones they are using at that moment. After a while they are reactivating the old ones and use it again.

Consider everything used with a scammer compromised and not safe for any future use. That includes online profiles, email addresses, phone numbers, apps accounts.
Help yourself by helping others - report your scammer here.
Google can be your best friend;use it if you have doubts about someone met online. If someone met online only asks for money, no matter what reason, it´s 100% scam.

Do not report that new profile to facebook to be closed. Leave it alone, and just move on with your life.
