A very similar thing just happened to me as in the OP, except not Angie Varona.

I'm just sitting here waiting all night until he picks up my $400 through Western Union tomorrow. I've made it so he cant see any of my friends on FB anymore but he still has a big list and 4 links saved in our messages... I'm so worried.

Do not pay the scammer, anothervictim. If you do, they will come back for more, over and over until you decide to stop. If you have sent the money call WU and cancel the transaction!
They will not post to your FB, it is just the BIG SCARE.
Read the informational posts at the top of the section, then Block them in chat, answer no phone calls if they have your number, do not respond to any emails from them. Say nothing at all.

Has anyone on here actually had the video posted? I come from a very conservative family and the video getting out truly would be devastating. If $400 will keep that from happening, then it's honestly worth it to me. I have reported the FB account and messages, but not block the user yet. Right now my plan is to block them and deactivate my FB for awhile as soon as they confirm they have received the money so they can't hit me up for more. I also plan to change the URL of my FB page, as well as making myself invisible in public searches unless someone has a mutual friend with me.

Also, they don't have my email, phone number, or skype. Just FB.

Do not pay them! They will try harder for more! And it will also make it more likely that your video will be posted!
Reporting them to FB also was a bad move. Now other victims cannot be warned if the profile gets closed.
And do not say one more word to them! Do not communicate anymore, in any way.

Male scammer pic on FB is picture of Lionel Messi, a football (soccer) star, an Argentine footballer who plays for La Liga club FC Barcelona and is the captain of the Argentina national team.


Met on chatroulette and video taken of victim at Chatroulette, no exact name known, later they moved to FB.
Scammer gave a short video show, then dropped his scam on victim.

Scammer wanted $400 and was going to pick up the money tomorrow.
Anothervictim sent Western Union Payment, then joined and posted.
Later came to chatroom, he called WU and cancelled the payment.
FB temporarily deactivated. Google alerts on his name entered.
No videos posted at this time online.
