So if we take the steps you recommended what is the likelyhood these guys will follow through with their threats? Also where can I be directed for further assistance.

Reading this entire topic can show you the answer for the aftermath. What kind of further assistance do you believe you need? Usually, people are posting their problem here and we try to find solutions for their problems, as long as those problems are online fraud related.

That's answered in the steps. Of course that would require reading them, which not everyone seems willing to do despite them being the best damn steps for dealing with that type of scam out there. They've even been copied by law enforcement (sometimes word for word), that's how good they are.

Will the scammer post our video on any porn site?

Unread postby kiranmahdev » Wed Jun 14, 2017 4:57 pm

Recently, I was scammed by a person from Philippines. He added me on fb and recorded my video on skype and posted the video on youtube and he sent me the youtube link. He threatened me to send the money or else he blackmailed me to send the video to my fb friends. I was scared and sent him 100$ and he initially said that he is going to delete the video after he receives the money. Once he collected the money, he again started threatening me to post the video to my friends. He again posted the video and youtube. I reported it on youtube and it got deleted. At this point, I blocked him everywhere and stopped contact with him. Its been 6 weeks, I haven't heard anything from him. I deactivated all my accounts. I did setup a google alert with my name to check if the video reappears, so far nothing has been posted. Everyday I wake up with a fear that he posted the video somewhere without my knowledge. I keep on checking all the porn sites everyday with my name and some other key words to check if he posted my video. I do come across some of the similar videos like mine of other victims posted on some porn sites like pornhub and xvideos. Are they the same gangs who threatened me that are posting the videos on these porn sites or are they someone else?

What are the chances of they saving my video and posting it somewhere in any porn site in the future? Should they have already deleted my video or saved it post in some porn site? Please help me in answering this question. I don't have peace of mind everyday when I come across similar videos of other victims in the porn sites. I did setup a google alert with my name but I am not sure if the google alert displays a porn link if its posted on any porn site with my name.

Do the scammers get any money if they post the victims videos on porn sites?

What are the chances of me actually answering questions that are already posed here thousands of times, despite the fact that they are answered here in the links? viewtopic.php?f=20&t=58941

I am sorry. I am hell scared looking at the videos of the other victims being posted on porn sites. I found this site a day ago and it is very helpful. I wanted to know the chances of scammer posting my video to some porn site after 6 weeks of now. Do you think they still have my video? Who are posting the videos on porn sites of other victims? Are they the different scammers? Or are they the same scammers who blackmailed me for money?

Please answer my question for my peace of mind. I am very depressed after the incident and I am not able to focus on my life and job. Your answer would be very helpful in suppressing my depression. Thanks in advance.

Relax. Take the time to actually READ and LISTEN to the links given to you. They do HELP relieve your anxiety.

The chances of your video showing up on a porn site after 6 weeks, like xhamster or other similar sites is less than you being involved in this:

General Cell Phone Statistics in USA.

Note: These are the most recent statistics available

The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year.
Nearly 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving.
1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving.
Texting while driving is 6x more likely to cause an accident than driving drunk.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Thank you! Some of the links you sent do not exist like: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=39056.

I am sorry, I didn't understand your last reply: "The chances of your video showing up on a porn site after 6 weeks, like xhamster or other similar sites is less than you being involved in this:" Do you mean chances are 1 out 4?

Do you think there are still chances of scammer posting my video on any porn site?

Sorry. Here is the correct link.

Seriously, quit it with the "Did they post the video?" quest
http://scamsurvivors.com/forum/viewtopi ... ost#p86181

I mean that the chances of you getting involved in a texting and driving accident during this year is far more likely.
As is getting hit by a bus while walking across the street, because you are still thinking about the scammer when you should be watching where you are going.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

I need major help. I have been being harassed and sextorted for the last month and a half. I have lost all my money and I'm now in debt well over $900. This person is in the Philippines and it's getting worse and worse. I'm going through a lot with someone in my immediate family in the hospital on their death bed and I can't catch a break. I live in total fear. Every day they message me saying this is the last time and it never ends. I deleted all of social media for a while, but they found out I have a major YouTube channel and I can't delete that since you have to have Google+ linked to your channel to see comments, so they always contact me there. Here's where things get worse. I made a huge mistake. My girlfriend of 6 years cheated on me, so I got drunk and made the mistake of paying for a camgirl on Chat Avenue. That's who this scammer is and they know I have a girlfriend and they keep saying they will message her. It gets worse because on Chat Avenue, she claimed to be 18, now she claims to be 15. I don't know what to do anymore and I need some guidance or help. Can someone give me a number or something?
