hello all, this is my story

First of all I would like to thank the administration for everything that you guys do. My story is going on its second week. I was befriended on fb and this person led me to believe its a real person, I mean he really put in work, uploaded pics and all, appeared to be a beautiful 24 yr old. After a few wks and few short msges we decided to move it to Skype, same scenario as everyone I read on this forum. I should of known better but again I'm thinking she's real and looked like the pics, I can't take nothing back. I quickly blocked her on Skype and fb once she only sent a link to my page. My friends list was private, even to friends. You only see mutual friends. Maybe this is why I didn't get a list of names. I blocked and deleted her asap, changed all info before I came across your website.. I did it all except terminate fb, but I changed URLs, pic and name. I cleaned my name under google for thongs lunked to my page was everywhere, i set alerts and so far so good, I had no contact since. I've noticed 3 emails on my old email before I deleted it. The way I see it they'd of done it if they wanted to, and everything you guys say makes complete sense. I don't think of the scammer I just hope they dont hold on to these videos and photo shop them, like I read they did one guy here. They made him appear to be in front of an 8 yr old with his name on the header. Now the thought of that bothers me, even tho I know the video will look obviously fabricated and also what part of the world it was uploaded on. But still the thought of it and having to prove your story is too much to bare. That wasnt my case tho and i wasnt blackmailed that way, all he said was hed post to my family and friends and also porn sites. I quickly blocked and changed it all right away. I didn't give him a chance and no contact since. I'm hoping they delete the video once they see your not paying, why would they keep them. I'd think the opposite, they'd keep the ones that payed, for the future. Any insight to ease my mind would be highly appreciated.

mikemike1,

What the scammer says he will do and what they actually do are two entirely different things.
Whether you paid or not has no bearing on whether they keep them or not. Once you disappear by following every single step of the advice, they know there is no money coming anymore and they are deleted, if in fact they even saved them at all. Half of them just loop in Skype and lie that they saved them.

Make sure that we have all the scammer's details that you have by going here if you have not already.
We need them to help warn others.

I already sent the info a few days ago under my old email and I made a new registration with the new email because I forgot the password I used for it (email), it was new and I deleted all the old ones.thank you guys again so much. You can only imagine and I'd like to pay it forward as well and help others.. This already made me a better person and much wiser.
