What site did you first meet the scammer on?: facebook
If they asked you to leave the site , where did they take you to?: from facebook to skype
How much money did they demand?: I stopped the minute they showed me the video. I pretty much took matters into my own hands.
Name you were told to send the money to. : Didn't get that far.
What country/city were you told to send the money to?: Didn't get that far.
If they showed you your video on a website, can you post the site and account they posted it with.: Youtube, the account name was Phil.
How were you to send the money ?: Didn't get that far.
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Everything. I quite literally did everything that you are supposed to do. Blocked them, reported the video, etc. I did however also report the facebook account. So I'm sorry to say that I think this particular individual got away.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: Staying calm. Jeez that is an understatement. The minute the scammer posted the list of my FB contacts it hit me like a 10 ton wall of bricks and the first thing I thought of was "Damn, well this aint fun anymore, you got me. Now how do I stop this from getting out of hand." So I composed myself, and casually thought about my next steps. Put my clothes on and then the rest is just me thinking about how to make sure I stay protected and removing all contact from this person.
