What name did the scammer use?*: Megan
How old did the scammer say they were?*: 23
Scammer's Skype username . THE NAME WILL HAVE NO SPACES IN IT.*: Sexyhotlady
What site did you first meet the scammer on?: Cam site, forget name
If they asked you to leave the site , where did they take you to?: Suggested skype
How much money did they demand?: Initially just to sign up to a bunch of cam sites. Then $600
Name you were told to send the money to. : Don't know. I deleted them as soon as they asked for that cash.
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: I deleted all my skype contacts. Deleted my skype account. Deactivated my Facebook, and I have changed my details anywhere I can think I have presence online. I have created a number of Google alerts on my name and skype video etc... As yet, heard and seen nothing else... Not sure if I am in the clear yet?
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: I thought it was weird that the scammer asked me on chat specifically to do a couple of things I would have to show my face to do. I would say never to show ur face until u feel comfortable with who ur chatting to. Also, don't be studied like me and use a skype account which was ur real name to chat to strangers!
