Skype contact request after 8 month, possible?

Hallo,
i got scammed about 8 month ago, followed all the steps and recreated my fb account. yesterday i got a contact request on skype, and the name made me feel skeptical.. i am a bit worried, so i´m gonna delete my skype account...
Is it possible they still try to get me?

I doubt that your scammer would still be looking for you after all this time has elapsed. I get random contact requests from other scammers on Skype. Your best course of action is to simply not accept any contacts from anyone you do not know in real life.

I've gotten 3 in the past week myself. They are usually "Chatbots," not real people behind the keyboard, attempting to lure you to porn sites. Just right click, and block them. Reporting these random chatbots for "Abuse" is fine, unlike reporting scammer accounts for abuse.
