I disabled my skype account, changed my facebook name before deactivating it. I went ahead and deactivated my linkedin profile as well.

What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Set all my social media to private. Blocked Skype contact and phone numbers they are trying to contact me with on WhatsApp.

I also already payed trough Western Union, but blocked it afterwards. The bank called me and the blockage is done.

Also I called the police, but because I'm in xxx and they are in Marocco its not gonna work. When I told the scammer I was in contact with the police, out of the sudden the video disappeared from YouTube.

Western Union made a internal fraude report

Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: They have a list of friends of mine on Facebook. I send a message to all of the friends from the list that when they get a invitation or message from someone they know they have to delete it.

The same name for the money receiver is reported also in viewtopic.php?f=20&t=22819.
