webcam scam or bullying?

Unread postby leggendary01 » Mon Apr 28, 2014 2:01 pm

Hello,

Yesterday I started to chat with skype with a "very nice girl" (of course it was a videotape).
She (He) asked me to turn on the webcam and after that this person has filmed me, told me to be a man.
At first he said to wanted money, otherwise he would have posted pornographic sites.
But in the end he told me he wouldn't do anything and that he would only have saved the video on his laptop. In addition, at the end he gave me his real nickname (there a man photo), telling me that if I wanted I could continue to talk to him.
He said: "I will not do anything with your video ... you can block me, anyway I'll leave you my real account."
He does not have my name nor anything else, now what I have to do? There is a possibility that he will also publish despite his "promise"? Or is it just a "fool" who wants to see naked men?

Thank you

Thank you Wayne for the answer!

I have followed all the steps and I have filled the form.
Now since he has not posted the video, at least at the end he told me that he would not have done this.
Now he could post the video from any site and he could put any name.
Another thing he told me was this: "I do not want anything in return, I want you to understand that the internet is not safe ... but I have the video on my laptop."
I followed your steps, but I have doubts and I hope you can answer me in analyzing the situation.

Firstly, once they're completely blocked then that's it. They can't contact you, so there's no reason to put the video anywhere. Secondly, they use the person's name in the video as part of their scare tactic. Doing something else would be a waste of time. These scammers are incredibly predictable, and that's how we can say with such certainty what they will and won't do.
