How I beat the scammers

First to make a long story short, I like to do exhibitionism/voyeurism chats on the net, you know where the girl watches me while I am naked. Most of the time we both have fun and nobody is harmed.

But it is dangerous when you run into the wrong person. It happened to me three times, but due to a combination of preparation and post scam damage control, I beat them each time.

First, in advance, do not give the girl your Facebook account. That is their gold mine to spread the damage among your family and friends. I tell all online chats "Sorry I don't have Facebook as it does not interest me". It is a lie of course as I do have Facebook (heavily locked down anyway so non friends only get my name, lead photo, state and country of residence.

They do have my email, but who are they going to show the video to? Me? Nothing on that one! And once I block them, they can't even do that.

Second, after the scam breaks, I tell them that I lied about my occupation and that I am a porn actor with hundreds of porn videos of me already on the net. This lie takes most of the wind out of their sails, as a porn actor has little concern about one more porn video of him being added to the collection already available for download.

Third I get nasty with them. I threaten to report them to their police. Most of the time they are in countries where they can get into legal trouble possessing a porn video. And I am not nice or courteous about it either, telling them that they are worthless pieces of s**t and can go f**k themselves. If the scammer is a girl, I tell her she is a worthless c**t who is too stupid to make legitimate money.

The first one was some sort of syndicate from Ghana who used a girl on the cam to set me up. I told the guy who emailed me to go f**k himself, that he is a worthless s**mbag and that he can shove the video up his a**. I then blocked his mail. Nothing ever came of it.

The next two were a couple of fleabrained girls from the Philippines. I first told them that I liked them initially and was going to give them money just because I liked them (a lie of course), but now that they showed themselves to be worthless c**nts they will get nothing, and by the way I already sent an email to the NBI (Filipino equivalent of the FBI), complaining about them for extortion. That alone will scare the daylights out of most girls who live there. I then blocked both emails. Nothing came of those either.

The bottom line, never give in. Be bold, assertive, nasty and on the attack. Worked for me.

You're right, Jimbo. Your playing with criminals is a dangerous game. And someday you may run across one of them just a bit smarter than yourself. Every day they are getting smarter, too. By the way, those "girls" are really other men behind the camera using faked footage. Think about that too, the next time you roll the dice and get snake-eyes, or spin the wheel to the "bankrupt" space.

If anyone reading this wants to play Jimbo's game, be my guest. Just don't come crying back here if the results you get are not to your liking.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Even though I am not an expert, I would like to add something.

After a few days of more or less extensive research I concluded that, even though the steps mentioned on http://www.blackmailscams.com may at first seem obvious at for some users, every single sentence there is meaningful and has a background why it is mentioned there. One might be tempted to question some of them at first, but I am convinced that they are the best way to deal with the present routine of those blackmail scammers.

Responding in an offensive and/or even threatening way may provoke them to break with their usual routine and try some more methods to find you again. They might even come up with something that works surprisingly well and implement this in their usual routine. Of course this is a worst case scenario but we do not want to accidently educate scammers in blackmailing.

Best regards,
