Also They had asked for $1000 via westernunion and also could send cash money on agance, once i told them that I had no money or a card, they asked me how much money i could send. Which I said i had none and then blocked.... My mind is starting to clear already thanks to you guys and reading up on this.

Skype Scam

Unread postby Bigguns00 » Mon Feb 03, 2014 10:29 am

Hi, Saturday night i was a victim on the Skype scam, the scammer recorded me and then showed me a list of my facbook contacts and said he's post the video to them.
1. How do they get the contact links to your facebook friends?? Are they able to contact them?

Tho convo ended by the scammer saying once i said i have no money to send:

[2/2/2014 1:45:28 AM] ange lop: so this is mean no
[2/2/2014 1:45:34 AM] ange lop: ok watch on cam
[2/2/2014 1:48:27 AM] ange lop: u r lucky i think this conte is blocked
[2/2/2014 1:48:39 AM] ange lop: but don't worry just give me sometimes
[2/2/2014 1:48:49 AM] ange lop: i will open other one and send the video :)

What does this mean?? It's been 32 hours since this has happened to me and had a few sleepless nights worrying.
My FB profile was locked and i've set up google alerts, im concerned that he can contact my FB contacts, is that the case?

Please Help :-(

They think you've blocked them. They're going to try it again with another account. Of course, if you've deactivated your FB then it makes no difference, they still won't find you.
