How much money did they demand?: 500$
Name you were told to send the money to. : Roya Fortes
What country/city were you told to send the money to?: Phillippines
How were you to send the money ?: Western Union
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: I have contacted Western Union in Sweden and the Phillippines, Skype, YouTube and i have blocked the user on Facebook, will soon block at Skype.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: When on cam, make sure the other user proves that it's really who you think they are. Ask them to hum a tune or show a letter with their hands.
Also DO NOT PAY THEM. The more people who pays them the more they are going to trick other people.

Wow I was just scammed 3 or 4 hours ago. My situation is the same as everyone's. Skype video chat then harrassed that it will be sent. But mines a little different. I was trying to negotiate with her and let her or him on for a long time like an hour thinking I could talk my way out of it. And so now I believed I wasted his or her time so much and got them so pissed that they will really try to post the video to my friends. And I'm still scared. I've deleted my FB and changed passwords. Is there anyway he or she can still post my videos do they have to be friends with my friends first on Facebook or can they just send it to all my friends? Anyway god bless anyone going through this ill post the scammers info here:

I stupidly swapped pic and a video , then it turned ugly and threatened to send the pic and video to my gf fb friends. They also have her work phone number and has said they will phone her.
Learned my lesson big time, I was physically sick when it all started. It easily to fall in to the trap.
