Claims to be Austrailian living in the Philippines working as a cam model. She took screenshots and a short video of my face and other parts of me during a skype call and has threatened to post them to my friends and family if I "piss" her off.

Hi guys, I have just filled in the blackmail form and followed all the guidelines re deactivating fb, Twitter, Skype etc. however I still have these nagging doubts that this person is going to post compromising pics and videos of me (obv taking without my consent) to friends and family on social media. This person threatened me by saying they will create a fake profile in my name and post the pics if I deleted them from Skype and fb. However after finding this site I found the courage to block/report them. The worrying thing was, they were speaking about members of my family, they saw on my fb profile. After reading about others experience I do feel a bit better about the situation, but I still have these fears

Scammers lie 99.9% of the time. The only thing that they do not lie about is that they are a dirty rotten scammer.

What scammers say they will do and what they actually do are two entirely different things.
If you have followed every single step in the advice, you will be fine.

Just to update, I woke up this morning and had this email in my inbox

"u blocked me on fb skype and yahoo. dont u worry i got some other accounts i can use in posting all your photos. i told yah all i want is to keep in touch so we could talk and camfuck, ur making it hard for ur self"

I haven't replied to the email, or contacted the person on social media. Shall I delete the email and just carry on as normal?

Yes, delete the E-mail and go on your way. If he hasn't done anything after two weeks he's not going to. If you want to error on the good side, shut down the accounts for another two weeks.

As "10." in the advice states,

Don't answer the phone to anyone whose number you don't recognise and be very wary of opening any emails

This means DO NOT OPEN any emails from scammer, or any unknown names. Delete them, UNOPENED.
This goes for any SMS messages to your phone. Just delete them, without reading them.

Took a phone this evening from a friend who said my pics were posted on a fb page he is an administrator on. The pics were posted about 4 days ago about the time I got the email from the scammer. He deleted the pics and blocked the user. i haven't heard from each one else about the pics. Should I be worried that they've been posted on other friends pages?

It's possible, but if there's been nothing since then, the odds are he hasn't
