FearOfGod's scam

Damn,

I got duped. No money paid however (I wouldn't even if I could). Bought some time by saying it would be possible to pay the next day. Blocked them where I could, changed privacy settings on FB and deactivated. I also have google alerts running.

Any further advice for something I may have missed? Plus, i know it's probably just residual what if's, but do you think it would make the threat more real if you promised a deadline but ceased contact completely thereafter?

Thanks,

"Deadlines" are just a tactic to make you pay, and to increase your fear and belief in their lies. Do what you need to do in the topics above and ignore it.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.
