Hi I was blackmailed 4 days ago and new! I Skype the guy for 2 weeks and didn't do much! I guess he had a fake recording of another younger guy and I fell for him. He kept pressuring me to remove clothing and I keep saying no. Few days later I got bold and started but just my top. Showed me a vid and pictures of me and blackmailed me if I don't masterbate for him hell send it on websites in my state. I was scared and fear overpowered the logic in my mind cuz all I can think is I can't let it go out so I did wat he told me to and i felt ashamed. I shouldn't have do e it and after I did it I knew I shoulda of not idk why I did t In the first place but I honk it was the fear in my head. Told me I will continue for 6 weeks and hell delete so after I got off I blocked him, delete my Facebook and emails but he tried to add friends from Facebook. I told my friends of wat I did and they don't hate me or think of me any different but we make dumb decisions out of fear. All my friends started reporting and ignorin the guy. I still fear of those vids being post on porn sites tho but I learned a great lesson. I read the guidelines here and I guess I did the rite thing. I wish I didn't got naked when he told me to do when he blackmailed me. Was prob seem like a sign of weakness in me. Hope my recovery of healing be easy as I keep getting nightmares of the incident

Thank you for your report. Even though your story is slightly different to most here, the steps we'd advise you to take are the same and can be found HERE.

You can find us in the live help room HERE if you need real time help. There's usually someone there. Look for the people with an A or an M next to their names.

What he did is called "sextortion" and I would go to the police about it to make a report. You're not alone in this and it's good that your friends have been so supportive. That's a big help in your getting over this.

Can you try, please, toe put all the information you have about this one here: http://scamsurvivors.com/bmform.htm ?

The police maybe can not do much, but if more victims contact the police, the authorities may become aware about what is happening and may have enough evidence and complains to actually do something.
