Scammers abusing stolen photos of Veena Malik

Hey there I know ive been stupid
I had a girl on my fb for a while she asked me to go on skype to chat a few times
Eventually she asked me for sexy videos
then she did the same
then asked for money threatened to post on you tube facebook etc
she sent me a link to where she was uploading
I reported it to facebook changed my name slightly picture and maxed my pricy setting out
I kept her on Skype and left myself invisible I was unsure who to report and if she would
find out if it was me with Skype so did nothing
its been a week and ill be honest I sent her money last week as i was scared
but today she said we need to talk on skype chat text thingy I have ignored it but
what to do now

Deactivate FB, create a new Skype account, block the email address (send it to deleted not trash) and make yourself as invisible as you can. Set up a Google alert with your name. Also - and this is vital - post up the scammer's details here. Details warn others and help save them from being scammed.

blocking the scammer is vital. As long as he can communicate with you, even if you dont reply, you are in danger. Stop any communication has the main role to ensure your safety. Of course, it´s up to you if you follow the advices or not. The self protection procedure work just if you follow all the steps without to skip any. If you do it or not - it is your decision and your risk.

Second - do not post screenshots with the details about the scammer. First, because Google and other search engines will read the information as picture, and the text will be lost. Second - because those screenshots have your details in it. Try, please, to post the information you have about the scammer as text. In this way, other potential victims can find the information while searching online.

We try to protect the real identity of our users here. But is hart to do that so long the user - you, in this case - post elements that may connect his real identity with the scam...

Had another email today
been a while since I blocked Skype Facebook etc.
She he whatever had my work email which is linked to paypal
sent a money request today saying if I dont pay 200 dollars she will post videos etc

But her old facebook account is gone now Ive checked I dont really know what to do now

Continue to ignore them. It sucks that your work E-mail is tied to your Paypal. Can either or both of them be closed or changed?

Yes I think i can change it just waiting for paypal to confirm the new email

I just worry thats all its not even been 2 months since it started and ive been scared to use the pc
dont like coming in work at all
