ive just been webcam blackmail by this facebook and Skype user.



ive been reading on here and taking people advise.

just wanted to ask what has happened to you?
if they posted to your friends if you did not pay them.

any help advise please

Delete and block "her" in your Facebook, without to report the profile used to Facebook. Do the same in Skype. Secure your Facebook. If the video is posted somewhere, ask the host to delete it. If not, set one Google Alerts with your name in it. And deny any future contact attempt the scammer may try. If the scammer can not find you again, in short time he will move on to the next victim.

The scam happened to me last week, and I thought it was over...
So last week, the next day after the cam session, the scammer non-stop messaging me tell me to pay him. I was panicking and at that time I have not been on this site yet. I paid him a little at first then I found this site and I started to follow the steps from the advice.
I did not deactivate my Facebook I just set it to the highest privacy setting as I could and it looked to me as it was over till today. I saw a few unknown people messaging me on Facebook with the pics and my Facebook contact list.... I then immediately deactivate my Facebook...
I'm worried if he will start spreading out the captured material

This is why we say to deactivate the account for 2 weeks (or for good even). All the security settings in the world are pointless if the scammer can still see you. Make it so you essentially no longer exist online and they'll move on. Deactivate the account and then after a few weeks reactivate it with a new name.

Can you post up your scammer's details to help warn others please?

I'm in the Asia zone, her Facebook ID is Nicole Cheng, Skype ID is Cindy.Kim, she then message me through Facebook with the other 2 name of Jenny Yu and Kyle Ng...
After reading the post in this forum, I do hope the video is gone, but the message I received today included some captured screen...
