Worried, very worried

Unread postby TyberZann45 » Mon Jul 15, 2013 6:09 pm

It happened last night, a person got a video of me doing explicit things from Skype. He asked me for my Facebook info but I never gave it to him. He asked me for five hundred dollars but I said I wouldn't pay so he said he published the video. I used a fake name on Skype, and I made sure to delete anything associated with the account. I followed the steps on this glorious website, but now I only have one concern. Can this video affect my life as an aspiring actor? I mean I'm sure there are people who at least look like me in the world so could I just blame that if it comes up? Please help me, I'm really worried.

Get us all the details, as these scammers can scam up to 20-30 people a day, and the other victims need the details to find help for the scam or be warned off.

I've read a lot if the stories on here and I'm relieved to see so many happy endings, as of yet I haven't heard anything more from my scammer, of course this is only the second day.

Should I still be worried?

Unread postby TyberZann45 » Tue Jul 16, 2013 1:23 am

Okay I was scammed at twelve this morning, as o yet I haven't seen anything about me or heard anything from my Facebook friends (of course I don't tell her my Facebook, and I used a fake name on Skype). I did everything that this glorious site told me to do, except for deactivating Skype which apparently you can't do. But I did delete all of my info on Skype. So I'm wondering wherever or not I should still be worried about the video?

You set the Google Alerts, right? And you have read the main topic with advices. Why to be worried, so long you are in control? Just be careful and in short time this story will remain in the past.
Help yourself by helping others - report your scammer here.
Google can be your best friend;use it if you have doubts about someone met online. If someone met online only asks for money, no matter what reason, it´s 100% scam.
