What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: I blocked them from both Facebook messenger and WhatsApp. I reported their accounts to both websites. I deactivated my Facebook account for 3 months. And kept all my social media accounts private. I reported my sextortion experience to my local police.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.: This happened at June 23, 2021. Don’t accept random friend requests even if they have a lot of mutual friends that you know. The sextortionist sent me a photo of a white girl laying on a hospital bed saying that their sister is sick and needs money now to help their supposedly sick sister. Giving them an excuse for me to send them money. I do not have a screen shot of that photo. They also sent me a text to my phone number that the FBI is looking for me because they used my video to make it seem that I was m*****bating to c***d p**n. The sextortionist didn’t show me any evidence of that but I’m sure that was another scare tactic because I did pay them before. So they are asking for more. I don’t have a screenshot of that but I did block their numbers and deleted the chat.
