Telford Private Bank - telfordprivatebank-uk.com

Unread postby firefly » Sat Feb 15, 2020 2:24 am

Despite having a website, Telford Private Bank doesn't exist.

The fraudster stole the website of a real Australian bank and reused it to scam victims online.

From the fake bank website:

As a 100% customer-owned bank, we strive to go beyond for our customers.
We take pride in everything we do. That’s why we aim to exceed your expectations and return outstanding value through our wide range of products and services.

The non-existent Telford Private Bank, allegedly located in Shropshire, uses the same phone number as a courier company allegedly located in Liverpool and named International Courier Plus.

From the fake courier website:

We have years of experience in the business of logistics, warehousing, distribution, trucking and supply chain management services, and aim to provide our clients with convenience, reliability and affordability through our premium logistic services.
Since 10 years we are providing you some special services.

Contact details:

Port Of Liverpool Building Pier Head Liverpool L3 1BY
info@icourierplus.com
(+44) 117 325 5622

+441173255622 is a geographic number, meaning it can be used anywhere in the world.

Must be hard for the people working for that bank and also for the ones supposedly working for this courier to pick up the phone when someone calls...

If their "special services" includes stealing your money, they are right. They are surely not right about those 10 years, since the fake website was created in September 2019.
