Just been scammed usd4000 by a Guy from thailand.

I was buying a Toyota Land cruiser engine, met this guy of facebook and he seemed very conversant with the
Parts that I wanted. He even sent me photos and he had a company! SUPANIS SANGPHALEE. For sure they had a webiste
supanissangphalee.com so I checked it out but it seems odd(at this point I should have followed my instinct)

So we started chatting on whatsapp and we agreed on a price. I asked for bank details to make a deposit, after which I would deliver the rest in cash in Thailand after verification of the goods.So I sent a deposit of $1000 to an account in Thailand

After a couple of days, guy corresponds and confirms in receipt of the deposit.

couple of days later he demands for extra deposit since his 'supevisor' deemed the DEPOSIT small as the total was $8000 and I have to make an extra $3000 payment to secure the parts.

Alarms bells start ringing!! so I started doing a thorough search on these guys.. Nothing!

The guy was communicating using supanissangphalee@gmail.com so I send an email to info@supanissangphalee.com to verify who the owner is.
Couple of days later I receive an email from info@supanissangphalee.com confirming that the invoice is theirs and am communicating with the right person.
Out of being Cursed or black magic I ignore my sixth sense telling me thats its a SCAM and send the $3000!!!!
Now the guy has disappeared and am so DISAPPOINTED with myself. should have followed my gut feeling but I was GREEDY for a good DEAL. i had even secured a thai VISA and tickets but now as we speak am cancelling them.

Just to be sure, I have received an email from your 'staff' but its a 'gmail' account.
I thought its should be like from e.g 'info@scamsurvivors.com'

Yes. Make a police report in your country, then go to the bank and report the theft. Give them all the information you gave us.
