The victims find the online ads and contact the bogus company with the intent of buying the products. After agreeing on the price, the fake supplier promise to send the goods with a delivery company. Shortly before the products are expected to reach the destination, the victim is notified that the sending is on hold until a so called "Document Clearance" is paid.
There are no products. Both the supplier and the courier are fake. Behind those bogus entities is likely a group of Nigerian scammers operating from South Africa.
