The scammers pretend to sell drugs online. The main character used in scam is called Dr. Fred, supposedly located in Ontario, Canada and using the phone number 207-494-5332 / +12074945332 - VoIP number.

The "good Dr. Fred" is using social media and free ads sites for advertising.

" It has formed in the year 2004" is a lie - the site was created 2017-06-19. The fake site maker uses the privacy protection given by the Registrar to hide his identity.

How the scam works:

The products don't exist. The so called pharma company and also the so called delivery company are both fake. The victims are targeted through free ads online and Facebook and convinced to order the non-existent products. The payment is done through credit card (giving the scammer the chance of getting the victims credit card details) or through wireless payment systems (Western Union / Money Gram).

After ordering the product, the victim is moved from the "pharma" company to the "delivery" company. Soon after, the victim receives the message:

YOUR PACKAGE THAT WAS REGISTERED UNDER SECURE & DISCREET DELIVERY WITH DIPLOMATIC SEALING ,SO THAT THE PACKAGE COULD BE DELIVERED WITHOUT ANY CUSTOM CHECK , HAS BEEN STOPPED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT INSURED. SO YOUR REQUIRED TO INSURE THE PACKAGE BEFORE WE CAN PROCEED WITH SHIPMENT

If the victim is not willing to pay, the chances are the scammers will try to blackmail the victim, by saying they will pass the victim details to law enforcement for trying to buy illegal drugs. Despite of the fake details used to register their fraudulent domains and despite the privacy protection use to hide their location and identity, the scammers doing this type of fraud usually originate from the Cameroon.
