paid for 1 year & now they keep asking for more money

Unread postby cazzann » Fri Sep 01, 2017 8:40 pm

i paid a fee of £99 for a copyright, i thought it was for life, then a year later they sent me an invoice for £99 for another year, and stated i was too late to cancel as it had to be cancelled 30 days before the end of the contract, i paid and then immediately cancelled the contract i dont want it, then a year later the same again, i have paid £64 this time thats what they said i had to pay before they get their solicitors on to me. i am so scared, my husband does not know he would be so mad with me for losing all this money. i dont know what to do. i have phoned them and all this foreign woman says is email us. they then send me another invoice. i am scared of them

Do not pay them any more or be scared of any threats against you.

Can you give us DETAILS of the scammer?
Email addresses used.
Names used.
Phone numbers.
Website link.
The emails the scammer sent to you, removing your real life name and other details from the post.
Documents sent to you, or any other attachments.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Please read this website link. https://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/abou ... ers.en.htm

There have been fake emails being sent in the past, impersonating the real Copyright Office.
Report the fraud to your local police, and ignore any emails, letters, or calls from the scammers. They have no intention of taking you to court over charges they claim that you owe. If you have used a bank account or credit card to pay the scammers, go to your bank and change your bank account or credit card numbers.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

See if you can stop those charges to your account or reverse them back to you. The bank should also be made aware of the fraud. It may help to bring in a police report to show them, so no more charges will be made to your accounts from the scammers.
