who requested me - added one of my friends (mutual ) - warned my friend- and noticed she/ he added 4 of his friends (all married).
Posting details here, then blocking (obviously didnt add- but warned friend) - also told him to contact the friends of his that this person has added. profile existed since december.

walqui8,

There is no proof this is a scammer yet, as it has not been reported to have scammed anyone yet, but.

When you got scammed about a month ago, did you ever deactivate your FB account or did you just block them?
If you did deactivate it, for how long?
Did you make a brand new FB account using a brand new email address when you came back online?
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

both blocked and deactivated. didnt pay. deactivated for 3 weeks.

reactivated, Locked down privacy, changed name, and have no identifying pictures, profile cant be searched, neither can images, changed email just in case even though it was private.

True. this may not be a scammer. not trying to be paranoid
just looking out for a friend; who added the person, who requested me (person only had him as one mutual friend) , and has profile pictures of different ppl, and they added some ppl from my 1 mutual friend's list, probably all his male friends..

Just not taking chances anymore. 0 contact - so I believe to be clear. please dont tell me I still have reason to fear. This incident seems like its on other person's end, not mine...

Until this one actually scams someone, we will not post it in the open forum. She could be innocent. Just because someone uses pictures that are not theirs, it does not mean that they are a scammer. If that were true almost half of the people on FB would be scammers, and we know that is not true. That would also mean that I am a real tiger, too. Well, I've been called that, but that is a whole nother story... :D
